@StoppingCorpses if you look at his body when their having sex you can see that the scars from where he got shot are not near his lungs.

@Lotus07 he started using the inhaler because after he got shot and discharged from the hospital he keep having nightmares of the shooting and he would wake up with panic attacks. so they gave him an inhaler and CEO known didn't allow him to sleep alone for about a month.
