I feel like there's a prisoner in the house that taron knows about so he came up with the ghost story and is trying to make her think she's crazy or there's a ghost so she doesn't question it.

like I said all the men in her life are terrible. let's talk about how they told her the reason she is to be in her room is because they were clea And it's a custom. Also the guy said if I ,key word I, knock don't open. Y'all don't even know what's going on. Her brother was knocking frantically on the door. The brother she didn't get to talk to all week. She would obviously open the door thinking it's not a big deal. You make it sound like she knew what was going on and intentionally put herself in that position
