I don't mind the author doing this but please don't add a coworker who's interested in the bottom. @Nexuseme I think the issue is bc she would feel out of place and "runaway" that's why the ml has been doing things slowly to reel her in and fall completely in love with him. Idk if it makes sense in a way we as the readers think a certain way but this story apart from being a slow burn the female lead is dating out of her status range so that is also another obstacle in way for the fl to even try to accept expensive gifts after her whole life dedicated to her ex husband who was an a*shole and she also has a lot of debt as well

@BLforBetterLife These are my thoughts that may help you understand. The way the the half pig guy was talking about is that they weren't normal like psychotic and that the other people there or subjects all d*ed there except him and little a. The doctor guy seems to have known that the half pig guy follows him because he broke him down since he is dangerous but only recently has he started to act out on his own. The doctor seems to have his own trauma about things so I'm not too sure other than being obsessed with trying to cure the disease that made them half animals

@Momo Sauce I think it's because she feels envy towards the princess who in the original story she was meant to marry him now that she's feeling evious she doesn't want to do something bad to the og fl that makes her a villainous in the original story and make the ml hate her
