I don't mind the author doing this but please don't add a coworker who's interested in the bottom. For all the suffering that our top has gone through from the bottom's disappearance I need it to be that the top is trying to figure out what was the threat that the grandpa of the top did or said to the bottomSo so so close yet so far away

@Nexuseme I think the issue is bc she would feel out of place and "runaway" that's why the ml has been doing things slowly to reel her in and fall completely in love with him. Idk if it makes sense in a way we as the readers think a certain way but this story apart from being a slow burn the female lead is dating out of her status range so that is also another obstacle in way for the fl to even try to accept expensive gifts after her whole life dedicated to her ex husband who was an a*shole and she also has a lot of debt as well
