the ml gathering information on the cult. he wants to find the son and the mc. he has no idea where mc is located so he joined to "religion" to try to get info and rescue the son. the boy he met at the end is the son of the mc. but I dont think the kid will willingly leave the cult. he's been brainwashed since birth. I feel like he's going to betray the ml (and probably thinks his father abandoned him, I can see the cult leader making him believe this)

@Rixxy ml is the only who truly loves him. all of his actions are to protect him and save him from that horrible family. the mc keeps getting himself in trouble and has to be saved. there will be a separation arc because mc finds out some things that ml has hidden from him but he runs before finding out the entire truth. they care about each other, there's just too much misunderstanding and miscommunication. ml is not a bad guy

@Sia He’s been brutally assaulted before, so his reaction is more tied to fear and PTSD than simple choice. He’s also internalized a lot of the stigma and victim-blaming around omegas, especially because people keep treating his pheromones like they make him responsible for what happens to him. He does grow stronger over time, but right now he’s still deeply affected by those experiences.
