@Batou bro I agree that the ending was a bit rushed and probably not what we were thinking of, I also feel a bit disappointed but what you said in the last sentence I disagree because our main character is a villain not some righteous protagonist were he defeat all his opponents fair and square and because he is a villain he will do whatever he can to achieve his goals and bring an end to his opponents in the most ruthless way as possible.

The eight corpse is seere which is sharing body with Camus Morgue. After suffering mana overflow while attempting the forbidden Complete Resurrection Spell, Camus was left in a state between life and death. It was at this vulnerable moment that Seere appeared, offering a contract to save Camus in exchange for possession of her body upon death.
However, when Camus survived the mana burst with only half of her body functioning, the contract was only partially fulfilled, leading to a unique arrangement where Seere and Camus shared control over Camus's body.
