i love jojo and it's a goatesque anime and manga but the representation of women at least until part 3 is ... not the best.
it already made me pause when erina fell for jojo, like, the first female character is only a love interest and although she has a good character her sole purpose is to be jojo's wife. that's it. part 2 same with suzie Q. lisa lisa is the strongest master of hammon (i think?) but e don't get a llot of fighting scenes with her and ultimately during the final battle she loses conciousness and is used as fan service multiple times. but even that isn't the worst.

part 3 takes the cake for now, i hope it's better latter since part6's heroine is jolyne.
let's start with the worst, that girl that follows them for a while, yeah, was that scene necesary idk, and impliying she "loves" jojo eh, nah bro.
and i know they needed a reason to go fight dio but to make holly the only jojo who is frail and therefore sick from the stand is not a good look, and the fact jotaro talk smack at her and she just nods and smiles, like i know some parents are like that cuz they baby their child too much (i have real life examples) and her's the dilema for me cuz jojo (jk i mean joseph) yells at jojo (xdd jotaro) to not speak to his mother that way, meaning araki oviously knows not to speak to women so disrespectfully, he just choses to use the disrespect as "comic relief" or whatever.

idk i feel like i need more time to properly explain why i feel this way for anyone to understand me, eh.
