why did this suddenly become a horror? wasn't expecting this

i don't know why everyone in the comments is so surprised with Shuraka's character - we were told that he cannot sleep cause his brothers would murder him and that to become padishah you have to kill ALL of your BROTHERS or you will be killed yourself. In my perspective, more to that, he was a child when they started to fight (i'm sure quite literally physically) over the throne. He lives in the environment where he needs to control everything otherwise he or Tei will be killed or harmed - that is exectly the reason he closed Arnata so nobody could harm Tei and whiped down anyone who could be harmful

he is a deeply traumatized child and most likely there will be a couple of reveals about his past and him keeping 2 of his brother who have the eye of Natam (especially this older one, which will play a role in the future) alive

it's actually is not like first time author plays with obsessive and red flagish charactes. it's still interesting when we'll get the reveal about Shuraka's past and more about his plans and motivation

I'm reading the novel and guys........ it's gonna become so much worse, I hope they change some things for manhwa, cause the novel is too much it has A LOT OF TRIGGER WARNINGS
