Everyone has a different personality and their own way of solving problems, and for him, it was the way he felt was best with less damage though it was damaging for other party. He just wanted a friend and didn't wanna lose. I love hyung character the most tbh.

Okay ik the reason many people are getting upset over the rejection but from the outside, brutal rejection looks ugly. From the inside, it often feels like the only way to be heard.
And tbh Mc never wanted anything from start and nor he gave any mixed signals still Red head was trying to interfere in his personal space. So ig it is obvious that Mc will shut him down instead of giving false hope. Sometimes you gotta be rude because some mistakes kindness for a chance or maybe later🫠
