Forgive me for pointing out the obvious but ml is clearly scared of wanting and the reason he doesn’t want to say I love you is because he knows whenever he says that he’s going to want more and feel more comfortable with wanting 

OK, I’m sick of pointing out the same things cause that’s not gonna get us anymore so I’ll offer up alternatives one way they could’ve done this better is showing sexual harassment and attempted sexual assault as terrifying instead of hee hee ha ha look at this like whenever he tries to lunge make him look as scary as seeing someone try to sa you would be at him or whenever he's doing that on his door, we could show mc's Face genuinely disgusted and terrified that he knows where he lives. I support manwas like the unchanged man because it shows it as scary as it is, and I believe that’s important to show  not all relationships are rainbows, but this is just showing it as a joke which it is not. Or if they couldn't do that, then they could've just made it so where it's a cute love story but there was no purpose in making a joke 

Yo, I hate it when everybody blames everything on family connections like that scene during love love is a prism or whatever that with kit really made me mad but honestly, I feel like almost everything he said was right, but the thing about it is that she didn’t know that it was right because her aunt hasn’t told her about how she’s literally basically bribing the professor to only let her get in to the big concert. I’m thinking you can put your hands on somebody because I said that to you was crazy but her thinking that he doesn’t have passion for it. It’s just not true like no he definitely did. It’s just that he’s lost it and I think she’s saying that because she doesn’t have passion herself.

“ what happened to your sound?” YOU,YOU HAPPENED I just don’t understand how he expects to “polish a stone“ but even if you polished the prettiest of diamonds too much polishing and it’ll be worthless sediment  I’m sick of it and does the cello major irk anybody else I Have enjoyed a lot of the parts of his character, but when ml was like "Can we please not, I'm tired" but then he was like no you don't even have to do anything which is like still it's a no bro. I know this is a couple chapters ago, but it's still irking me Like I feel like everybody but MC and the flute major are Indirectly or directly hurting somebody actually, scratch that. The MC is hurting himself. It's really only the flute major. He's the only one that's mentally stable as far as we've seen. 

All of these characters need to grow except the flute major because honestly, I feel like everybody can be redeemed from growth, but it’s not looking great

One of my theories are just vibes that I’m getting off of their dynamic mc and his girl (I am horrible with names) is that this is like a light and Misa situation like I’m feeling that he’s more appreciative of her and more looks up to her than is genuinely romantically in love with her because I feel like he would struggle to differentiate familiar love and romantic love because he’s never felt either he’s only felt the care that she has given him yk? Idk 🤷🏽‍♀️ tbh this is just a vibe and something I’ve seen a lot in stories,BUT don’t get it twisted I do feel like it could be romantic yk cuz feeling are subjective. And another thing that I definitely feel like  is gonna happen is that his girl‘s death wasn’t ml’s fault /had nothing to do with ML and that she actually just married him for some reason involving mc but these are all my dumbass making assumptions lol

I like this story so far because they are handling toxic relationships AS TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS and not sexualizing it like they showed r*e as scary as it is. And in my opinion it is GOOD to show toxic relationships because not all relationships are rainbows and butterflies or whatever NOT THAT IM PROMOTING I WOILD NEVER WISH A RELATIONSHIP LIKE THIS ON ANYONE I just think we need more representation like this 

OF COURSE EVERYTIME I LIKE A STORY ITS ALWAYS SEXUAL ASSAULT IM SICK OF STORIES GLOSSING OVER CASES OF SEXUAL ASSAULT OR MAKING IT SEEM LIKE "NOT A BIG DEAL"
