Yes this ML is a bit of a trash narrowminded one but marrying the daughter of the man who killed your family is a valid reason for his hatred. I think he just wanted a different reaction or emotion from the FL since she looks like she doesnt care. 

Communication is key, man. I mean from both of them.

If you are in his POV, his hatred is understandable -- marrying your enemy's daughter. And the FL also looks like she only listens to her father (in his POV, of course).

FL feels nonchalant witn her situation but i guess theres more to it than just being an obedient daughter. Well i do hope they communicate well in next chapters
