@Vincent uhm just a theory but i think he ultimately wants to kill the alliance leader and is scared the steel blood fortress will use that chance to attack them as they are all holding each other in check. as the shaolin got into a conflict with the alliance now, he might see that as a good moment to get the advantage against the steel blood fortress?

holyyyy what a chapter! love the pacing of this story, a lot going on simoultaneously but it never feels chaotic. the art is great and his hot-tempered blood lu** whenever a fight is about to start is soo satisfying to watch 😈
