@Raven bro they've been raised in the al-kamar orphanage since they were babies, they were probably brainwashed and had their fear instilled. Even the strongest of man isn't immune to manipulation at a young age. He was clearly stressed and torn between what to do and he couldn't think properly. Plus, if the assassins failed, what would've happened? Consequences for telling them. Many victims don't tell about their trauma until they've gathered up the courage over the years– how could he? Even if he's an assassin, he didn't want to be. He was stuck between a cliff and a well.

@Nice One baby wasnt he a kid when the war first started and Martha seemed to have been separated during the first few months or weeks, so I'm just assuming that loid fought years after Martha (could be wrong)
