If you felt angry because of a slur then congrats, the author did their job. Racism is ugly, hateful, and should insight rage. The moral I'm getting is about crying wolf. Using racism to call out others when it isn't the case only hurts those who are actually experiencing it. It could also be about people who are of mixed race who don't feel like they belong anywhere. Hyun mentioned getting to the root of the problem, so maybe Mukhyeon had/has someone in their lives who said racist things to them for only half of who they are and is having difficulties with it(as anyone would).

It's okay to be upset, but calling the author a racist based on part of a story that hasn't played out fully isn't okay. If it bothers you then drop it and move on.
