I think what Jiwoo lacks other than experience fighting of course is 1) Some sort of ferocity when he fights, he sort of treats fights with other awakeners like some kind of sparring rather than actual life or death situation and only gets into the proper mood when he's damaged badly unlike Kayden who not only knows every fight is life or death but also welcomes it almost like a psychopath and 2) Poker face, wears his emotions on his face which makes it very easy for veteran opponents to sus out his emotions and act accordingly. Now granted, Jiwoo is an angelic person, doesn't actually want to hurt anyone, but he doesn't really have that luxury due to being related to Kayden. If he wants to protect his world, he needs a switch in his brain that turns on battle mode. I don't expect him to start killing people, but at least get used to hurting people who want to destroy his world.
