jeongmin (mc) is met with the sight of a drunk and crouching jaehyuk (ex-friend brunette that'd dated juhyeon (ex-friend blondie bully)) by the side of a street. jaehyuk admits that he became drunk after drinking his father's alcohol, and jeongmin is rather annoyed at the fact that jaehyuk "didn't have anything to say but still called [her]" anyway. jeongmin emphasises the fact that she's dating siyun (ml) and adamantly states that despite sharing good memories together w jaehyuk, she no longers wanted anything to do with him. jaehyuk cries after feeling "so regretful" over his actions and jeongmin explains how unserious the past events had been, and that it'd be better to move on as the two of them "won't have anything to do with each other anymore". selfishly, jaehyuk asks to "be by [jeongmin's] side", and this request is harshly denied, with jeongmin reinforcing the fact that given his current social status, "[jaehyuk]'ll still have a good life without" her. leaving the conversation, jeongmin acknowledges how "so guilty" she will feel the following day, and the wechat/kakao shared messages between siyun and jeongmin hint that siyun used his astral projection powers to watch the interaction between her and jaehyuk; this is a highly likely implication. dream-world siyun stabs jaehyuk to death w a knife. if jaehyuk has not been killed, it is equally as likely that he'd been severely maimed (due to a kawaii siyun rage rampage; will be referred to as 'KSRR' in upcoming recaps)
following the timeskipped date, jeongmin (mc)'s discomfort mirrors siyun (ml)'s growing monitoring of his actions towards her; despite both parties attempting to keep their relationship pleasant, the toxicity within begins to fester into the surface, corroding the bond and trust they'd once genuinely shared amongst one another. siyun asks jeongmin who had been texting her (after noticing (in his house) that jeongmin had turned off her notifications before the date), and this question was met with a lie (that the messages had been spam and from group chats - (NOT AI DASH BC THESE MYYY WORDS) the reason to lie was due to the implied fear of siyun's past and potential reactions to if jeongmin had confided him the truth and'd admitted that the true sender had been jaehyuk). once choosing to go home and not return back to siyun's place (for that day), jeongmin decides to respond to jaehyuk's missed messages by calling him. the last panels show jeongmin outside at night, attempting to find jaehyuk. the last manhwa-related image depicts her gaze falling onto him, or something else entirely (read this yourself to find out what~) ambiguous
continuing on from dolled up jeongmin (mc)'s arrival at siyun (ml)'s house, the couple is on 'their' bed making out. the ambiance is pleasant and romantic with a heavy, morbid undertone foreboding what the "tightrope" relationship has become. siyun gets a nosebleed that jeongmin comedically panics over, the vibe is 'pleasant'. after tending to siyun's nose and deciding what the rest of their date (that day) should be, siyun offers for jeongmin to choose where they should have their date (that day), only for jeongmin to lovingly (and likely genuinely) reply that she has always liked whatever siyun chooses for them to do. the vibe remains surface-ly romantic. jeongmin decides for the two to have their date outside, for which siyun willingly agrees to. on their way out, jeongmin's expression darkens upon receiving a notification from jaehyuk (brunette ex-friend dude that'd dated juhyeok (ex-friend bully blondie girl)) as she mentally runs through how siyun would respond if she were to tell him about the notifications. this chapter beautifully depicts how their relationship's red string has turned into a noose around jeongmin's neck, the intensity of the fragile nature their relationship holds is only shown to increase; although throughout this chapter, siyun is displayed as being fully smitten and adoring over jeongmin's gorgeous x dressed up appearance. "i can not say it" evidences the increasing inability mc has to freely speak x express herself within their unstable relanship
following a text message, jeongmin (mc) meets up w juhyeon (ex-friend blondie bully) after falling asleep in bed at siyun (ml)'s house. juhyeon informs jeongmin that she's going to transfer schools and that she (juhyeon)'s told her (juhyeon)'s mother abt what had happened, i.e. her involvement in jeongmin's bullying (action referenced to previous chapters ago). jeongmin and juhyeon talk, and juhyeon's 'ultimate' withdrawal of the potential of another possessive fixation over jeongmin is shown, after jeongmin admits that she doesn't fully forgive juhyeon. after the talk, jeongmin returns to siyun's house, and finds a stood up (finished sleeping) siyun in a bad mood, who asks where she was (which jeongmin answers, nervous). siyun then asks since when jeongmin x juhyeon had been friends... chapter 91 ends (there's ch91.5 tho, this review =! for it). overall, although this chapter depicts the gradual intensity of the continuous harmful and red flag behaviours yet to follow, this is a series to be read through to the end. and no way hosé this is not a spoiler, given how much this has been alluded to throughout the manhwa
