It has nothing to do with MC having plot armour and can jever do anything wrong never have a bad idea and no repercussions it was totally her just fighting weak people.

They are all there from Hard mode so how is she to know his hard mode is supposed to be super killer ultra amazing. Seriously how is she to know he is the MC so nothing ever bad will happen to him and he will never lose.

   What she sees is he is ranked third so he's a beast at the pve portion of this but 0 wins 0 losses makes him question the pvp. You can be great at one but not the other.
