@Nelson Mandela he could have put thr gas portal under her bed or furniture not hovering next to her head. He could have USED THR PORTAL ANCHOR AFIXED TO HER WORK DESK from last chapter to do the gass attack in gar. He could have poisoned her toothpaste or makeup in her house and been long gone when she died. If they want to teleport her without her knowledge they could just launch the whole bed the next time she's asleep.

He literally has a portal stuck to the bottom of her desk right now. Stick a gun out an blast her away. Plot done, not more pain or suffering or attempted murder of children. I really liked this story when it began, and I really want to like it now, but the stupidity the MC has begun to show just keeps growing.
He uses his portal so ineffectively. They need to hide? Find a out of the way room and drop a small one on the wall and jump inside. Like, why are they all going through places on foot or standing on battlefields. Stay inside the portal and pop it open as needed. Stealthily with 2 people instead of 8 would be way more effective. Im sure the dwarves or James could make some sort of stealth suit as well. Like this is a super enjoyable series, but man thei OP skill could do so much more with a little bit of thought.

I forsee this tower AI causing many issues in the future. Letting it transform into him was a horrible idea. Especially directly after it showed its thought process of wanting to kill the spirit.
I understand that she has to stay with him for points, and will most likely end up with him in the end, but really literally anyone else in the group is better than him.
