The pacing is getting on my nerves. Might stop reading for a while to let chapters stack enough to have actual story development

I really like this manga but the yapping is too much at times. They go on and on talking and the story doesn't flow... It's been about 5 chapters in that exact same spot and the fight has barely begun.
I bet he'll get a leg or arm injury at most lol

Winter is the one who brings Ivonne back in the og timeline. However, after the "normal mode ends" he finds out that Ivonne is in fact Leila (the witch demon thing) and uses magic to turn back time so that Penelope can defeat Leila. He is the one who summoned the MC into Penelope's place. He does not remember it (I think he regains his memories at the end). In this timeline, Eclise, who is in love with Penelope (kinda obsessed really) finds Ivonne and brings her back so that the Duke and his family will let go of Penelope. Ivonne convinces him that Penelope could never see him as anything but a slave so he wants to make it so she has no choice but to accept him.

Spoiler!
FL was taken from her birth mother at a very young age to be raised at her father's manor but he and his wife (count and countess?) abused and neglected her real bad up until she was basically sold in marriage to the duke and forced by her father to get pregnant (Idk how he forces her but the Duke did not force her. It was her father. Perhaps by threatening her mother?). After the marriage, the count kept making constant demands for money. FL, who's severely traumatized and heartbroken for marrying a man she didn't love, can't bring herself to care for the child or her husband.
