its clear the people in here defending this book or deflecting the blame on other problematic tropes or plots for this being called out are very insensitive towards people who have been enslaved. there are billions of plots to choose yet you have a korean author, who is writing about a slave owner and slave falling in love….and you dont see a problem in that??? the amount of insensitivity and tone deaf people in this comment section worries me, how could you not see this is literally just flat out wrong and morally disrespectful and disgusting? slaves were raped, beated, skinned, tortured, eaten, but no, lets turn it into a romance!!! :)))))
