Might interest you, your comments reminded me of this Japanese drama, "IS" I saw a while ago, I don't remember a lot from it but I think it delved more into how hard it can be to accept being intersex. Not so much from the main character but a character that appeared a bit later. Though (don't know if it matters but because it's the subject of this chapter), I think there were no pregnancies in it.
