Tyrant king pushed Ah Li against the wall and forbade him from going to the compound again, and Ah Li asked to quit his job as the tyrant king's bodyguard and to be put on the guard duty at the compound, to which the tyrant king had a flashback to all the times Ah Li was remotely sexual with him (getting close to his face, touching his face, kissing his hand which covered his mouth in the secret compound when they were hiding, etc)  and assumed Ah Li wanted this because he was attracted to Yami. So he announced that Ah Li will be on extended bodyguard duty, and Ah Li got mad and asked "Don't I sleep?" and that's when Chapter 24 starts out, with tyrant king saying "No Sleep!" Hope this helps.

I read the chapter on a different website (manhuahot). Here's what happened in Chapter 23. Not sure how to mark for spoiler (if that counts as spoiling) but here it is: Ah Li snuck into the guarded compound disguised as a woman and was immediately found by the tyrant king, who was also sneaking in. Tyrant king tried to shush his screeching by covering his mouth and Ah Li kissed it, flustering the king. However, they're immediately caught by the tyrant king's younger brother (which confused Ah Li because he thought it was the tyrant's sister who lived there) named Yami and Ah Li noticed the similarities between the brother and Ah Li's stone statue darling, because the brother (long white haired guy) was super kind and gentle but didn't look strong like how the statue (and the tyrant king) are. They talked over tea at a table and turned out the brother was super religious and the tyrant king didn't wanna go into his house because it's filled with idols. Ah Li found the prince to be pitiful because he's locked up all the time. Then Ah Li remembered an ancient poem that Yami reminded him of, and said the name "Mi Mi Ah" out loud and flustered the tyrant king, but it turned out that "Mi Mi" referred to some else, not the younger brother Yami. Then the tyrant king kicked Ah Li off his stool and said "no servants at the table" and tyrant king dragged Ah Li out by the scruff of his shirt with a quick goodbye to Yami.

I started this BL yesterday and haven't been able to stop reading it and finally got to this point after a little over 24 hours. I've never loved a BL like I have do this one, and I've been reading BL since I was like 11 and now I'm 23. Like the story, the art, the complex reletionships-its all absolutely perfect. Even the rápe isn't treated like how it often is in other BLs. The fact that it's based on ancient mythology is just the cherry on top (last time I found a good ancient mythology series was Percy Jackson back in middle school). I even found myself missing dialogue and had to go back and reread because I was distracted by how pretty the character designs are (Ra, Thoth, and especially Seth are especially enrapturing). I think I'll end up on Tappytoon or wherever the original is to support the author because this has got to be my all time favorite manhwa that I've ever read.
