'While You Were Letting Your Guard Down' is so precious, it's ongoing, but a really wholesome story after the angst, and a solid second couple for the side caps.

@Voooo omg so freaking true, is exasperating, the "I'll treat you like sh** for years unprovoked and then regret it as soon as you step out of the door" is so tiringgggg, and fr you know is watpad level writing when they have to resort to r4p3 or gang-r to justify trauma/keep the plot alive, it's so dull and extremely over used, it's almost like a token atp, if you don't have it, is not Omegaverse, and it's depressing.
If you have any 2025 2026 recommendations I will desperately take them.
If I have to recommend some of my latest reads it will be:
'Aren't You My Type' (catfish involved but the plot keep you engaged and they're a cute mach). Completed.
'Where Understanding Ends' (really hooked with this one, more on the dark side, not finished but the ml has been really unpredictable so I'm giving it a big chance, feels like doing a good spin to the Omegaverse clichés lmao).
'Alpha buddy' extremely spicy and dumb but what can I say, I have a soft spot for unrequited love. Completed.

Sorry I needed to rant about it since it's impossible to digest this story alone, is literally hanging by threads, hoping to see a major reveal as to why they're not only so dumb but as to why the ml is such a mf*cker, (reading comments about people that had spoilers is not really promising tbh).

@Nymala now, I wrote this comment for the previous chapter but this one just gets WORST, alpha guy over there is being such a Romeo thirsting all over the mc, they actually had the chance to talk in a somewhat conscious state, and what did the mc choose to do? Reaffirm the fact that this is all a dream, like huh? R u for real? Given his inner thoughts until that point he should be throwing punches, I mean, your crush for almost (10y I think) that has rejected you and made you feel miserable at any given chance of intimacy (but obviously still forced you to nurse him to sleep), has the NERVE to be dreaming about f*ing you.
