Yeah I figured it was like that from the last chapter. It's so obvious. The Kings suspicions makes sense. This is clearly another empire ploy.

Given the situation it makes sense Logan is suspected. He hasn't told the king what his intentions are. They literally just had a civil war.
Pretend we don't know the MC's actions. It makes sense for Logan to be suspected. There's only one man besides the empire who could stop him at this point. They guy the king called to come along.

To be fair that's all he had to do. Nobody told his fellow Country man who supposed to be smarter start a civil war. They even had the empire infiltrated their ranks without notice.

@chief it happened about 30 chapters back? His 1st wife was triggered, but given how both of them were 9 stage emperors, they both had history with the MC. And she had helped a lot. So for political reasons and convenience, The 1st wife let it slide. 😂
