Your the kind of person who would say this yet prob the most insecure person in middle school who writes 3rd rate fanfic. IRL, yes communication is key, but it is hard to do it (take it from someone who actually had a relationship) because of the level of sadness and awkwardness (and I think it's great the manhwa reflects on this, as cliche as it is of lack of communication, but it's still realistic). I think the manhwa having a lack of communication is the key for a conflict, therefore having an actual story. Better then the plain sm** you probably read in your sad bed at night. Ash saying "we have no relationship with karlyle" is just him respecting Karlyle because he said he doesn't want a relationship early on. Also dude... you need to chill out, your "roasts" aren't even good my man, "emo 2018 vibes"?? Really??

SPOILERS!!! Basically Ash did in fact like him, but moved on he when met Carlyle. Think of Nick and Ash as more of a fling. Ofc that's what I read but don't worry you guysss, cuz (spoilers again) Ash does love him and realized his empty feelings when Carlyle broke up with him and THEN realized he's in love. Also Carlyle actually broke up cuz of a misunderstanding
