WTF is right, the author needs either therapy or major plot rewrite. Plot has turned into a depressing cr** show with no purpose.

I'm making a guess here that Joshua will start his redemptive arc around the time Rain gives birth. Not being psychic or a literary genius, I can't say just how that will happen. It's just an intuitive prompting, based more or less on how author has arranged the story.
