Honestly, I don't that that she's stupid and Ireally like how she's pursuing Daniel, even if she is showing signs of liking adam and it's just to get the the end of "the game". Like- the WHOLE POINT is that she wants to GO HOME! She doesn't know Adam as much as we, the readers do. But she does know that NO ONE, I REPEAT NO ONE!!!! Has ever really cleared Adam's story, and thinks that the duke hyacinth is a side character. If her main goal is to get home, then she is obviously going to choose the easiest path, not one that's never been completed, or a side character she likes that won't get her home. 
I like how she brings up her dad here and there, they seem to have a really good relationship with each other, and I bet if you guys were in that same position and had that same relationship as her and her dad, I bet you'd just want to go home too.
