Tbh, I kinda like redemption arcs but only if there's a really great character development, and it's not about cheating, betrayal or something that could lead to death or svicide. I'm actually onboard with the mc not giving in easily BUT in my opinion, the ml already suffered enough and has redeemed himself countless times. I think it's now time to get back together so we can see lovey-dovey episodes. Also, it would be nice to see them deal and overcome a major issue as a couple once they get back together.
