Guys, I think he's the protagonist(?) and the little boy is an error in the story and he just happened to regain some of his memories from his past life as a system at that time and used his system abilities to kill the little boy bc he was either interrupting the storyline or was just being a nuisance and that's why the cat system didn't bat an eye
