Only like 60% through the whole thing but, good lord! Why is everyone and their parents the biggest cry baby sore losers!?!! This is why I avoided anything sports related growing up. People become big babies about it and suck all the fun and soul out of it!

Him saying "Oh okay! FROM NOW ON I'll only spend my nights with you" makes it sound like he's confirmed that he's slept with his concubines, but that NOW after TODAY he'll only be with Tei. From Tei's perspective that probably feels like a knife to the gut and even feels a little gross/nauseating. (If it's true) It's something I think he could've looked past, had Shuraka been more communicative in what he should expect once they go back to the kingdom. 

All of this just started off on the wrong foot ever since Shuraka came back into his life. He of course had expected things to change (since time had passed and Shuraka had grown up), but for him to be kind of cold to him and seem like he was not monogamous and fee physically replaced is understandably hurtful. And if it's all a misunderstanding then Shuraka should've communicated better so they could both be honest and talk. 

I agree with the sentiment of everyone else here.

The issue isn't necessarily the fact a ruler has concubines. It's that he specifically used phrases like "You're the only one for me" "I've only ever loved you!" "You were the person I thought of every night and I can't wait to make you my wife". In all of that, it implies monogamy and that he'd be the ONLY one. You'd think he'd at least mention he already has had concubines for years now, on their way back to his kingdom!

It's like a slap to the face to get hit with all the concubines as a surprise once he's arrived. How could he NOT feel hurt. He probably still would've married him and came with him to his kingdom, and yeah still felt bothered by it but at least he'd have time to mentally prepare himself! 

Especially because he knew wolf spiders scared him and always caused him to faint 😭.

Btw I live basically on the edge of the woods and I can tell you, wolf spiders are def scary 😭. I hate spiders in general but around October here the pop up... the spookiest month 😭.

So when men see a woman have a relationship with a younger guy, all of a sudden she's "throwing her life away" and they're concerned, but when a man has a relationship with a younger woman they pat him on the back and say he "scored". 

I'm not saying it's morally right have have a age gaprelationship with ANYONE who is 18 years old to early 20s, but you can't be a hypocrite and support men who do it and shame women who do it. It's either you support both or you shame both.

People have to understand that in a society like this, you cannot brush off or allow any disrespect from someone being this rude. Even if it's the truth you either hold your tongue or say it in a sugarcoated way. You don't just say "Sorry your man gave me all his attention yesterday. I know it made you mad" you'd instead just say something like "I know I make you uncomfortable" and nothing else. 

In this type of society as the top "wife" you'd have to show everyone you do not tolerate disrespect from someone who strongly puts your position at a risk. People would talk behind your back and laugh at you and start siding with the "new competition". I don't agree with a society like this but it's just how it is
