@Anthoniette According to what I've seen from Tiktok and Novel spoilers, Lakias is supposed to be the SON of the elder brother in the previous chapter. Apparently, the artist that adapted this Manhwa changed a LOT of the original novel story. From the ending, the feelings the brother had for Marianne, and the gender from Son to Daughter.

Love ijin so much. But holy he**- first time I've somewhat seen him straight up be that way. 

He somehow shows this hidden sense of... protectiveness- I'd say? Especially towards the village he used to be in too, hence why he's back, etc.

At this point, they simply have a weird obsession with her. It's similar to those who are greedy and want *more* and *more* things. 

Now that they know her power to some degree, they only want her back as they'll use her for their advantages, and only to be a brag and make a better name for themselves. How annoying~~
