it's getting a little ridiculous how long this arc is when i don't think it's THAT important compared to delving deeper into the relationships of the main characters in the friend group. i'm grateful to the mangaka for giving us this story and writing in a way that makes us care so much about them. i hope we can return to them again, especially subaru and saku.

ayame has entered my list of characters i hate the most. i hope the author hurries up with the midori and sui endgame. it's unconventional but it's not illegal or morally reprehensible.if two people are meant to be then let them be.

i really really hate ayame. i think he's incredibly cringe and i think he's being unfair towards sui. he's basically pressured sui into this and he's making himself look all selfless when in actuality he's being self-centred by guilt-tripping sui into "facing his feelings head on". if she's not interested she's not interested! leave her alone to figure out her own feelings!! now you've got his weird friend kaede basically warning her to have good intentions during the trial date after being the one to encourage ayame into pursuing her that hard???

the last few chapters have been insane ragebait, this trial date is coercion no matter how wholesomely you try to wrap it.

this nonsense with ayame needs to get wrapped up quickly. it's SO forced. there's no chemistry, sui is clearly not attracted in the slightest, it just comes off incredibly awkward and cringe and i might snap if i have to hear this "love meter" bs one more time. i know midori is controversial but it was so palpable, the tension between him and sui. if we're not getting a sui and midori endgame then PLEASE introduce a new character.
