Did you know that someone died on 2016 due to hickey? The doctor said that they got stroke because of blood clot and it leads to their death. The possible reason of blood clot is due to lip pressure to the carotid artery in their neck and not because of sucking. Anyway, this is an isolated case and extremely rare to happen.
