first time reading tho but can tell he a piece of shi just btw he was talkin bout the kids and acting all mighty high(i've only read this far so i might be wrong in some parts)

the way he looked down upon them and thought there wasn't much benefit for them to spend time in reading and writing as they're gonna be farmers later huh

then wbu you haven't accomplished anything anyway you just know letters and can write them to sound nice so you think you're above the farmers sir just to lyk if it weren't for those farmers sending their kids to you to learn to read and write i'm afraid you'd have to farm too to earn a living too and i'm not sure if you even have the land and ability to do that
