The BL community is rightfully mad because tere's a clear-cut different between a character who believed he was straight realising he is attracted to men and THIS conversion therapy of a subgenre (FL transmigrates into a BL novel and suddenly the ML loses his attraction to men?!). 😭

I'm baffled over why people compare Jaekyung to Jiwon (from Mingwa's other work) when they're nothing alike. Dong-gyun agreed to have a sexual relationship with Jiwon because he's attracted to him; in the FIRST chapter, he says his dream was to have s** with BJ Alex. On the other hand, Dan is being exploited and r@ped for money. Jiwon's initial treatment of Dong-gyun is even somewhat understandable (not excusable) while Jaekyung is an abuser and r@pist. Jiwon's redemption was fully developed when he let go of the BJ Alex identity (the one who hurt Dong-gyun) he fabricated out of trauma, while there's absolutely nothing that Jaekyung can ever do to "finalize" his "redemption".
