Haebom ran away because taesung's grandfather was threatening him. The grandfather was threatening him using taesung's mother. The grandfather drugged the mother tied her up and took a pic of her while she was on the ground unconscious. Using that pic, the grandfather threatened haebom and told the person he hired (I'm gonna call him RH since he has red hair) to keep haebom locked up. The RH locked Haebom up for 6 months. During that time haebom couldn't leave the room at all. One day the RH wasn't in the home and haebom took it as a chance to run away and the grandfather saw him and told him he could run away because the RH was draining all his money keeping Haebom caged up. He also said if haebom ever goes back the the mother won't be safe. So haebom ran and started working at a cafe. After a week taesung found him, tried to take him back but haebom was hesitating a lot and kept asking about taesung's mother. After a while haebom finally agreed but the grandfather found out and kidnapped haebom then taesung came to rescue him but the grandfather told the RH to r*e haebom in front of taesung 😭. Taesung didn't want haebom to be hurt so he said he would work for his grandfather and will never see haebom again. Haebom was then staying with their friend jo yonghee. During that time taesung was acting like a nice grandson while planning a lawsuit in secret. After Taesung succeeded he left because he thought haebom wouldn't want to see him after all that. Then one day while haebom was helping their mother at an orphanage taesung came back and they got together again.
