Akujo Ranking / Kujimaru Otori is a fairly successful 25 year old manga author who has fallen on hard times. His so called girlfriend Rika has milked him for 50 million yen before blocking his number, and has left his life in shambles. While resolving himself to try to win her back, a strange (and strangely dressed) foreign woman suddenly appears in Kujimaru's room, claiming to be the long deceased Queen of France, Marie Antoinette.
