I love slice of life, romance, and drama manga but this was the first romance drama webtoon that fascinated me so much and even re-reading it doesn't feels boring.

In the beginning, I felt the lead was pathetic and plot was irritating or slow sometimes but with each arc the characters kept being developed and the art style improving feeling downright beautiful after some arcs. When I compare the art style of current chapters with the first ones, it feels as if Yeonwoo keeps getting prettier while Haesol got even more handsome. We slowly got glimpses of all characters past and watching them deal with their trauma not just through romance but all areas of life including friendships and family has been a captivating read. It's not just the love story between the two leads that keeps the reader hooked. The lead's supporting cast of friends are dynamic characters in their own right with Yeonwoo's conflicting friendship and background with Jahnyuk being a highlight of the story and not something one finds in an standard romance story. The story keeps giving hints that the unseen past of the characters which slowly gets revealed is as important in the comic as the present which we are seeing now. It's like the deeper one goes, the more enjoyable and attention grabbing the chapters become with high anticipation.

Overall, this is a story which only keeps getting mesmerizing as it progresses and I certainly was delighted upon reading all the available chapters.

I look forward to the upcoming chapters and what direction the characters and story will go.

This is so weird. We got that one whiny MC and cold handsome fl. Like this is the most boring a** thing ever. Y'all are just eating this up bcs it's straight w a masculine fl . Ngl this isn't anything special at all, it maybe would've been an 3/5 or smth, but the fans are just ruining it . Also the art style sucks , sorry to be like this but this is weird. Can't we just have one mc/ml that's normal and not either a fuc**** emotional crying baby or super hyped masculine mafioso?? Is it really to much to ask for a realistic relationship??

It's called.
Yeonwoo's innocence.
The main subject revolving around his timid behaviour and it even portrays why he's the way he currently starts as in the story. Overall the main plot was just him finally healing from his past trauma and basically forming and building relationships onto his healing process.

Overhyped trash.
Where to start...
This sh xt is the absolute fkn worst. The story sucks frm beginning wherever they're taking it to

The Mc just is a fukn pu*** cat; and a fukg idiotic & crying moron. No, even worse than that.
I can't even... Realistically, no one can even be that naive, slow and stupid

You're trying to build the story and focus on the character development, but after 170+ chapters of  mediocrity i think can say this is fucxking hilarious, I suppose it reflects more on the author's persona who's probably a stupid crying little wh-ore and a fuxkin
delusional bitxc-h that can't write for shi-t or even do anything right.
Mc looks like and acts fuxkin twig, forever whining and crying about his inadequacies yet doing nothing about them.
All he ever thinks and cares about., is chasing bixct and can't even seem to do that right.
artwork is an eyesore.,and like i said he's a twig and his body is probably made of butter, try working out your body even a bit then maybe you'd look even a remotely "masculine" no; I'd rather cry about it as well.

Alot of people lack self-confidence but his is just over the top, b/c he's shy and weak as a fukn cockroach. Actually, roaches are pretty resilient so bad comparison this guy would probably cry b/c of a fly moving past.

And a myriad of other things unmentioned.
This is the worst and most repugnant vile piece of cr** i ever set eyes on.
Fuxk you author and fuckk whoever else that enjoys this abomination.
You'd be either psychologically unstable or just have shxt for brains.
This is the worst thing I've ever read and nothing else comes even close.👎

Thank you for this honest review because I've said this since chapter 117 and no one seems to see that the ml is a winey little loser that doesn't do anything to make himself better

"Absolutely Captivating!
Yeonwoo's Innocence is a masterpiece that perfectly blends comedy, romance, and school life. The characters are incredibly well-developed, and the story keeps you hooked with its heartwarming and humorous moments. Esol has truly outdone themselves with the stunning artwork and engaging narrative. Every chapter leaves me eager for more. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delightful and emotional read! 5/5!"

There's up and down but i can relate to the mc Especially the bullies i hate how traumatic this manwa is but i will still give it a 5 star because its so good to read sometimes im crying buckets, and shouting so loud that my mom slap me at the back of head and irrating because of the bullies.

FL is such a bad girlfriend/lover, it's insane...
of course, ml's personality doesn't help at all (but it's still 999% her fault).

..first.. the art.. at first its beautiful but it just gets even better.. and second.. all the characters are so well written and overall the story too.. you can see the character developments from the oldest to the newest chapters... For example, in the beginning, the male lead is very insecure and scared of everything and just not confident and towards the latest chapters you can see how hes changed.. also this story is good at making you hate the bad ones with all your heart...
This story has lot of good written angst, i must give it that.. the author really isnt holding back.

I actually like the concept of the small romance although it isn't exactly progressing that much throughout the chapters since the subject of the plot is revolving around Yeonwoo's innocence and how he basically heals and justifies his timid and anxious behaviour.

There should be a psychological tag for this because during his backstory scenes I actually felt so sick I'm not going to lie. It was messing with me a bit because of how scary the story portayed trauma and anxiety.

I especially love the build up with the main character and his childhood friend considering how they both went through such a horrible traumatic experience, one feeling guilty while the other lost his light. I think they both really needed to reflect on that and I'm glad they have so far because it's helping them heal from their past regrets and sorrows they share.

Story: 10/10

I wish the genre wasn't labelled romance though, mainly because as much as it has that small aspect of it. The progress of the romance is hardly shown into the story, they have their moments yes but otherwise it's not the main genre focus.

this story is magnificent. The characters are unique, each having traumas to overcome. the story is beautifully written and feels so human. It changes strong and flawless characters, here we have broken people who try to navigate as best they can towards the light at the end of the tunnel. Having suffered serious trauma myself, it is satisfying to see that they can cope with theirs despite the difficulties. It makes me want to keep fighting. I can't wait for the next chapters 😄

i absolutely love this its starts of as a cute romance but you see the in depth characters and how every character has there own backstory  and are well thought out. i love the couple and the trauma is honestly unmached the recent chapters are actually killing me but i need like a 10 chapter mass update cause the wait is making me actually die inside

The ml is passive and annoying. He constantly lets himself get disrespected and the fl and everyone around constantly has to stick up for him because he has no backbone. The fl is boring and seems completely uninterested in him. They have no chemistry whatsoever. He's just falling over himself obsessed with this girl and she's there the entire time with a straight face. I get a slowburn, but come on. If you like a very, very, very slowburn, you might like this, but other than that don't waste your time

The story literally revolves around Yeonwoo's innocence and justifying his current behaviour.
If you actually read it properly you would realise that both of them experienced different types of traumas.
And that some people don't learn how to express their emotions and theres even disorders for that. So really do you understand the plot.

ML is too passive, FL is too dense (and dumb), their relationship is a secret = their relationship/ML is "disrespected" several times.
Besides that this story has several other problems like the focus on unnecessary characters/things. But I feel that to detail everything that is wrong with this story is a waste of time.

You're probably accustomed with that generic "tough 6ft man and fragile/submissive woman" formula so i understand you point, but with some chapters, you can see the reason why they look so "hollow" and boring, its a good plot twist to be honest.
The beginning (first chatpers) is kinda generic but with time, all that stupid stereotyped characters change drastically. (like jun jinwoo)
It takes time, but you can have fun seeing the evoluition.
TLDR: The beginning is like every other manga, bad but with a good evolution that results in a masterpiece. Not everything is what it seems.

@SubToLunedi4c I stopped reading your comment in the first paragraph. I only made this review after I had read about 100 chapters and basically had only kept reading exactly because of the "role reversal" part. I read all kinds of stories, so please, stop acting like you know everything.

Sorry for any mistakes, I write with the help of translators. Sometimes something goes unnoticed.
