@Ro Ro Why feel bad for such a mother. She lost 1 child against her will.. but the girl she gave up herself, believing in superstition. In real life, many girls (and even boys) get abandoned at birth because of superstitions among certain circles.
@SomeAB It's not just superstition, it's also the life she would lead.. She (the mother) said it herself.. On the outskirts no one would care, but in court she would have been seen as a calamity..
But then again, it looked like she was just thrown into the water instead they could have laid her down on someone's doorsteps , that honestly sounds better
