From what I remember,The reason for that was because Xinlu tried kidnapping taeui,ya'll will see in the next chapters he literaly said if taeui doesn't agree to come with him or stay with him he'll kill him and hug his corpse,plottwist,he didn't and when illay confronted him,And stabbed his eyes,yuri saved him from further damage and was the one that took him to the hospital AND pointed a gun at illay to protect him🤭, saving his man lmao,also yuri and xin lu met one time when they were younger where yuri saved Xinlu fro drowning which is the reason xin lu is afraid of the sea!!
