@onelazyfuck it's because in age gap romances people are afraid to make the woman GROWN. hae-soo is sort of... not infantilised, but definitely made to appear more innocent than a woman of her age would be. since he comes off as more experienced and mature, her calling him a child doesn't make any sense 💀
