Hm, If you're not sure if they like you too, maybe do small gestures like hold their hand, hug them more often, allow them to wear you hoodies or clothing more, invite them over more,and try and hang out with them more, try and build more memories between you too till you guys get closer. Just make sure to know that they might like you back before you confess. Also a very big thing is, try and let them talk to you, about life, school, work, etc, allowing people to know you're there for them and can properly comfort them will make them like you more ig. If you don't know how to comfort people here are my tips: 1. if they're crying, allow then to cry or tell them to cry their heart out bc crying makes you feel better. 2. bring them to a quiet, secluded place where only you two are if they're feeling sad and want to vent or smth. 3. bring them the things they like, e.g. snacks, plushies, movies, games, etc. and lastly 4. hug them or pat their back, if they're taller than you then wrap your arms around their waist, if they're shorter then wrap your arms around their neck.
