Comment on ChapterLily of the Valley - Chapter 4

my two cents on the characters so far:

rose - manipulative, she coaxed lily into surrendering herself to her through dirty tactics. I know she's been through things, having lost her parents and all but that's not excuse to go around treating other people like objects that she can just use at her own expense.

lily - gullible, but only because she just wanted to love and feel loved. She thinks that Anna doesn't feel the same way but the latter is  being too conscious of her status. How I really wish she gets her ending and that ending should be with Anna who clearly loves her too if not only for their societal status.

anna - fragile, and it's understandable from where she stands right now. Being a servant, she finds herself unworthy of being with her lady. BUT I SWEAR SHE SHOULD BE THE ENDGAME

@blackrose Lily was pretty much ready to drop her panties the first time she meet Rose. In chapter 2 she almost kissed Rose, if Anna hadn't showed up they would have kissed. And she did sneak out of the bed to visit Rose during the night. So, she is not that gullible. She wanted something with Rose. Her effection for Anna was pretty shallow. I hope Anna gets someone else, she deserves better than Lily.
@NotCool you said it yourself. The fact that she was so ready to get on with the duchess at Chapter 2 despite her not knowing her fully means she's gullible. The Duchess is deliberately manipulating slash sending subtle signs and she's falling for it (thus, what happened in chapter 4).

People who feel unloved would well overwhelmed when someone suddenly gives them the attention they've been yearning. It's the manipulation tactic that the Duchess used to make Lily submit to her.
