Ok so here's what I think it's gonna happen. Jaekhyung will react in the worst way possible and start bashing on poor Doc Dan, without letting him explain the fact that he actually refused the offer. Doc Dan being the heartbroken poor lil baby that he is, eventually decides to actually accept the offer from Jumin's manager (or Jaekhyung fires Dan and then he accepts Jumin's offer) and starts working for him. Jaekhyung gets mad and jealous af but his proud arrogant a** would never ask Dan to come back. And that's how Jaekhyung's losing streak starts and he gets even more mad af, and then he finally starts realizing how much he needed Dan, and how much he's jealous of him 'cause like, 100% sure, that Jumin guy will try making a move on Dan. This Jumin guy will prolly try to force himself on Dan but, while doing that, Jaekhyung pops up and rescues Dan (he was around because he already planned to get Dan back) and then things start getting better between Dan and Jaekhyung and suddenly everyone will forget about the awful things Jaekhyung made Dan endure just 'cause "he changed into a grumpy bf".

@AryY so here's my take. Jae would probably harm and hurt Danny, (remember how he nearly beat his ex to a pulp?) Yeah, and Danny would be fired without consideration. And there's a possibility that his grandma would also die in this time. And her last words would be for him to live a good life for himself. I don't think Danny baby would accept the offer... he would probably just leave all their as***. And even if jaehyun learn the truth, it would be too late. I'm pretty sure he would try to get back Dan, but Danny wouldn't give him a chance. Instead of either of these two mma fighters, the probability that he would accept the blond hair actor guy Mr. Romeo lol is higher. And I'm sure he'll fall in love with Dan but respect Dan's wishes unlike jaekyung or the others.
If there's a chance that there's a love rival for jaekyung, it's going to be him. Jfjdjdjd the actor guy.
And Danny would probably respectfully turn down jae a million times. And no matter what he do, Danny wouldn't give him a chance at all. (This is if it's a not happy ending)
If its a happy ending , a situation might arise after a million times of jae trying, for Danny to finally give him a chance.
@Praveeni Fernando you might be right on your theory. Out of them all, this is the most possible scenario. But it not true that the author said she's not gonna give them a happy ending. She is gonna give them one. The author said that she "doesn't have the heart not to give them a happy ending". Sure, he will not take the job that the director of jumin's gym has proposed. And will most likely get in his feet by himself after getting really low, like after getting fired and his grandma dies. The actor might come to the stage once more because he likes Dan but he is afraid of Jk so he is not gonna make a move on Dan. And jk will realise that Dan did not betray him and then the pursuing act begins. Which, if we were to look at Bj Alex, this is gonna be really fast and Dan will accept jk faster than we want. Because after that, after being together the both of them, they will start getting to know each other better and jk will really like to have Dan around, and Dan will find out about his story too

@Praveeni Fernando Ok that sounds nice too. Honestly, da** fr the actor guy was effing top tier. But I doubt the actor guy will try to get back with Dan, if I'm not mistaken Haesung ended up being interested in potato. And about the grandma, yeah 100% she will die and leave baby Dan with those typa words, and yeah, that would br the only way for Dan to have a character development
