So.. was the tiltle bestowed upon by king and announced by Duke? Or Duke has the authority to bestow the title of Baron in his own territory?? I am a little confused

@Hebe 06 yes it his territory so he is given him the baron title only in his territory I think I don't think he can be an official baron without the kings approval which I think they could easily obtain
