@Kassidy Spencer well as it's a Chinese translated to english .. So the word which translates into brother is 'gege 'which  a person call his/her boyfriend.. 
In English we only have brother or sister but in Chinese there are different terms..

@Kassidy Spencer they use it to call there brother to but also is used for there boyfriend yeah 🧐 just like the korean word 'oppa' which girls used call a boy older then them but it can be both there brother or husband/boyfriend...

@W A N G Yi ehh I don't think it's only used for calling his/her boyfriend. I heard it used to refer to seniors and close friend who is older than you. It doesn't have to be intimate
