@MOOKIEBOOKIE racism is bullshit, same as feminism.
African american people say they're proud to be a part of it, same with asian, latin, everyone. But if a "white" person says that, it may go to jail.
And feminism, women think they are above men. Feminism is supossed to be about equality, but it's not. People hate "sexists", but love feminists. Such a double standard.
@Rondm my opinion is a bit different I agree with the racism thing, but the feminism one is not as simple as it seems in all three waves of feminism in the past women were fighting for their rights is society, such as voting and the right of divorce. but today, even with some differences in workplace, women have it way better than it was before, so there's really no reason to exist feminism(except for all the hate crimes and attacks againsn't women, but this should be a basic human right) I agree that some feminist women really do look at themselves as superior, but saying all of feminism movement is bullshit is so wrong
@hua xie maybe in your country feminism did something right. In mine, many kids died at the hands of those mothers that hated them just cause they were boys. Also many feminists beat the cr** out of men that go to their protests, being my ex one of them, and I got beaten up too for bringing my boyfriend. Since when were only women allowed to support feminism? Neither me or my now ex deserved the beating we got. Me for bringing my man, and him for being born a man
I have a relatable experience Rondm. I went to a feminist support meeting when I was touring another city. I was the only man in attendance and the attendees around me were unhappy to see me participating. I was kicked out of the small group discussion I was in because the others didn’t feel comfortable sharing their stories with a man.
I got revenge at the end of the meeting when the facilitator asked people to share their experience at the meeting by pointing out that my small group kicking me out makes it hard for men who want to be supportive to actually be supportive with such behavior. Not only were they shamed, other attendees came to talk to me afterwards saying they were happy I came. It ended up being a funnystory I shared with other people I met for a while.
