Let me first explain who is who.
Absolute Ruler (G**)= Creator
Light= Emissaries
They maintain the world
-Shadowwas the most faithful and strongest of the Emissaries.
- Rulers are the rebels (aka Fragments of light)that killed The Creator.
Dark= 8 Monarchs
Destroyers
- King of Destruction is the Dragon Kingand the strongest of the monarchs.
- Mage is (the architect)who was the servant of the Dragon King.

Okay so now that that's explained. Creator, was killed by Rebels/Rulers/Frag of Light and Shadow could not forgive them so shadow joined forces with the Monarchs when the Rulers trapped the Giant Monarch, since they and shadow now have a "common enemy."

Two of the monarchs (the beast and Baran - the White Flames) back stabbed Shadow because they were afraid of Shadow's Power. Beast ran like a dog with it's tail between his legs. Baran was captured within Shadow.
Rulers asked for forgiveness, and Shadow was like "fck you. You killed the creator!"

Yes... You guessed it: Gramps was one of them. And the reason Gramps died happy was because he knew that Shadow was back in theirside and has forgiven them. 😭
Anyways, architectmade a deal with shadowfor himto be able to gain a body by creating a game; slowly making Jinwoo stronger.
When Jinwoo/Shadowkilled the architect, it was basically Shadowbetraying the the dark side/Monarchs.
