Ah! So I'm on the right track. The Oldest Dream might actually be literal. Like… this is all a dream of the Oldest Dream, that was once a reader like us, then something happened he became like G** of something quite literally the Dreamer and thus the Oldest Dream, but he needs dreams to live the story, because what is the story without anyone to read it or in this case live it. Which would make each character kinda like an avatar of the Oldest Dream or something. So this whole Manhwa is about teleology, or close enough.

@SUSHITTO Think about it like this. You're reader of manga and manhwa, right? Let's imagine that you read something so profound to you that it became your favorite thing. And you wanted to believed in the world you were reading about so much that when something happened to you (perhaps death), you made that world real. By reading the story to many times and being immersed in it so much, you made it real. But in order to keep it going you need to create readers of that same story like Kim Dokja and the other characters that knew about the story. However although you're making that world real you don't have full control over it. There are rules you need to abide by.
This is what I think is happening here in this manhwa.
That's why I mentioned teleology but also the dream part.
It kinda reminds of some of the myths about Vishnu, and how he dreams several worlds into existence, existing in all of them as Vishnu but also avatars. That are his way to both create but also experience his creation.
