@Edwin She was just to make an example of, to show that useless people have no space there and will be sacrificed while others who prove themselves useful will thrive. Like in previous chapter with the girl that was talking with the pink, she got some skills and was sent to 2nd floor. This is to show the new version of the waiting room and how it works from now on.
