Okay let me put this together... So, I think Ahn met with the Boss at some sort of these events and ended up getting on his "good side" so he became the star player and to make him invincible he drugged him, that drug also making him get ho*** so the boss "helps" him after every match and I think that since ahn has found gyeol he will stop doing it with the boss and do it with him
